Prospectus: Incorporated Personhood
2019 - present
Incorporated Personhood is a project performing a series of keynote moments along the path of a human organism exploring perception and function as a corporate entity inside its physical, social, ecological and political spheres. The first live art action in the series took place in December 2019 and served as a first gathering of the board of directors (the minutes of the meeting can be viewed under Board Corpus. The second action occurred at the European Cultural Centre, and served as an exercise in embodying raw corporate power and the promise to tilt itself away from extractive praxis towards praxes of awakening, atonement and care. There, the name of the fledgling corporation came to be: il limone a te inc. The next step is underway through the support of a Collision Room Artist Grant offered by the Ely Center for Contemporary Art and will perform a charting of the employee-management breakdown of the organization.
